50+ Fellowship
We have changed the name of the Silver Threads to the 5o+ Fellowship
“God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.” 1 Cor. 1:9
As the name suggests, our Silver Threads is aimed at those who have retired and may have a few ‘silver threads’ in their hair, although this is not a prerequisite to attend.
We meet on the 1st Thursday of each month (Sept-June) at 2.30 pm when we have a time of lively singing, a singer and also a guest speaker. Following the meeting we have tea and a time of conversation with friends.
In December the meeting takes the form of a Christmas dinner and in June there is a bus outing with a meal en route.
We are always glad to welcome new faces, with transport available if required.
